Biography
Dr
Lindall is married with two children. He
was educated at Haberdashers’ Aske’s School (Elstree), and qualified
from St George’s Hospital Medical School (University of London) with the
MBBS in 1982. After
his year as a Houseman, he undertook Senior House Officer posts in
Anaesthetics, Accident & Emergency, Paediatrics and Neonates
(including Special Care Baby Unit), Geriatrics, and Psychiatry During
this period, he sat and passed the Diploma in Child Health of the Royal
College of Physicians in 1986, and qualified for the Family Planning
Certificate from the Joint Committee on Contraception in 1987. Following
this he completed his year as a GP trainee before spending the following
year in a variety of Hospital and General Practice Locums. Dr
Lindall started as the junior partner of three partners at the Penrhyn Surgery in 1988,
becoming Senior Partner at the beginning of 1995. In
1995 he obtained the Diploma of the Faculty of Family Planning of the
Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists, and also qualified
for the Certificate of Accreditation from the British Medical Acupuncture
Society, from whom he received the Diploma in Medical Acupuncture in 1997. During
his time at the surgery, it has been considerably expanded and
computerised, and offers an extremely wide range of services to it’s NHS
patients. He has served on a large number of Health Authority and other committees, and has written a paper on the Cost Effectiveness of Acupuncture for Pain Relief (41k pdf) published in the Dec '99 edition of Acupuncture in Medicine, the journal of the British Medical Acupuncture Society.
